Sometimes you feel your computer is not as fast as it used to be. Although this can be explained by hardware damage, the most probable cause is that the system is filled with inconsistencies and junk data. Synei System Utilities is intended to optimize Windows so that it can regain its original levels of performance. Using the program, is quite easy, mostly because there’s 1-click maintenance to help you run various types of scans and fixes in a row.
Synei System Utilities is a collection of various tools. In my opinion, the single tool of the suite with the highest impact on performance is TuneUp, which finds and fixes registry problems. In addition, there’s Disk Cleaner, which finds and removes the leftovers of your activities. Startup Manager, in turn, lets you choose which applications start along with the system. Luckily, it provides useful suggestions that allow you to minimize the time your computer needs to boot.
Browser Optimizer promises to increase your browsers’ performance by making a smart use of the allocated memory. It’s a good thing that it supports several of the most popular browsers, such as Firefox, Chrome, Opera and Safari. Another useful tool included in the suite is Backup Manager, which enables you to schedule regular backups of important files and folders. Finally, there’s Spyware Defender, which, as you might have guessed, protects your computer from malware and spyware.
In general, Synei System Utilities seems to have something for every system issue. In fact, the features mentioned above are just a few in a long list that also includes a memory manager, a hard disk scanner, defragmenter and a file encryption tool. Unfortunately, some of its features couldn’t be tested in the free version, so it was impossible for me to measure the real impact of using the application on system performance.
